Two more bodies have been recovered from the helicopter crash in Lagos following rescue operations.


This brings the number of deceased persons to six.
Six people were earlier rescued alive and are receiving treatment in hospitals.
Our correspondent, Kelvin Obeten reports that investigation has begun to ascertain the cause of the accident .
12 people were on board the helicopter which crashed into the lagoon behind the Oworonsoki Police Station.
An eyewitness said the incident occurred at about 3PM on Wednesday, August 12.
The chopper was coming from the Ikeja axis of Lagos State when it made a loud noise before nose-diving into the Oworonsoki end of the Lagos lagoon.
The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Ranti Adebule, also visited the crash site
